Dhikr: The Most Important Practice in The World

If I were to list the verses and hadith regarding the importance of dhikr it would be a book of its own. Gratefully, I have already done that in The Power of Prayer

Prayer and salat are forms of dhikr, just like reciting the Quran and bringing salawat.

Dhikr is said to be the highest form of worship in religion. Why?

In the following chapters where I will talk about astrology I will explain how only a tiny portion of the human brain comprised of 15 billion cells is activated via the rays it receives during birth and how further activation after this is not possible.

The brain can’t recruit/activate new cell groups under the effects of the external rays it receives after the point of birth. But this does not mean that the inactivated potential will have to remain idle forever!

Cell groups can be activated via certain practices and new capacities and skills may well be attained.

Actually, the whole idea of religion is to activate these new parts and potentials within the brain to acquire and utilize new powers.

So why do we repetitively recite certain meanings that pertain to Allah by way of dhikr?

Dhikr: The Most Important Practice in The WorldLet’s say you’re repeating the name Allah. Before you utter this name, your brain processes its meaning and via the electrical signals it sends to your tongue it allows you to assign and express a particular sound to it. When this name is remembered (recited) in your brain a bioelectrical current is activated amongst the group of cells that are associated with the meaning of this name. In essence all functions in the brain are nothing other than bioelectrical activity among brain cells. Different meanings cause a flow of bioelectrical energy among different groups of cells in the brain. This flow then enables the activation of a myriad of meanings via the groups of cells that it triggers.

All functions of the brain are carried out via the chromosomes comprising these groups of neurons. Imagine the infinite number of activities carried out by 15 billion neurons where each neuron has connection to 16 thousand other neurons.

Fatabarakalllahu ahsan’ul khalikeen!

Hormones on the other hand, affect the chemical make-up of the cells thereby altering the speed and direction of the bioelectrical flow creating the various formations to which we assign meanings.

Various rays with different frequencies coming from the constellations and the different cosmic effects to which the brain is subject due to constantly changing planetary aspects also alter the bioelectrical flow in the brain, hence creating new meanings…

The brain never really sleeps; it constantly receives and outputs data. The differing moods people experience has nothing to do with the state of their souls; it is entirely related to their brains. The soul or spirit is just a backup copy (wave-body) of the brain.

Anyway, let us not digress…

When we engage in dhikr, that is when we repeat a word referencing a meaning pertaining to Allah, a bioelectrical current is activated in the relevant group of neurons in the brain and this energy flow is uploaded to the wave-body (spirit).

Additionally, when you keep repeating this word like a mantra, the bioelectrical energy that’s produced gets stronger and stronger and starts to activate other cells, hence causing a capacity expansion.

Upon continuing even further, new meanings are formed in the brain via the newly activated cells and this leads to people saying things like, “Since I started doing dhikr my mind works differently, my understanding has enhanced, I can perceive things in a different light now…” etc.

Since the new meanings and the energy that is formed with dhikr are uploaded to your radial-wave body (spirit) the quality of your life after death is also increased.

“And whoever is blind (unable to perceive the Truth) in this life (outer life) will also be blind in the eternal life to come (inner life)[1]

I believe this verse points directly to this truth. For, the extent to which one’s brain is activated and enhanced directly affects the state of their holographic radial body, as every bit of data in the brain is constantly uploaded to the spirit. Since no more data can be uploaded to the spirit after death, a brain that hasn’t adequately developed in this world cannot in any way become activated in the life after death; it becomes indefinitely fixed with its capacity at the point of death.

Consider that! Millions and billions of years, an eternal life! And your only chance of preparing for this eternity is by developing your brain as much as you can in this limited, restricted worldly life.

If you can’t see what the implications of this are then I have nothing more to say to you.

So, we talked about the bioelectrical energy produced as a byproduct of dhikr and how this is uploaded to their spirit body. Let us now address the second aspect of the benefits of dhikr.

There is a verse in the Quran regarding the creation of man, that says:

And when your Rabb said to the angels (angels here are personifications of the qualities of the Names comprising one’s body, hence the addressee here is you), “I will make upon the earth (the body) a vicegerent (conscious beings who will live with the awareness of the Names).”[2]

The word ‘vicegerent’ points to the fact that the human brain is created with the potential to manifest all of the meanings of the Names of Allah.

Based on the name of Allah you repeat in your dhikr an increase in capacity will take place in your brain in correlation with the meaning referenced by that name. I will write more about this after I explain the technical aspect of dhikr.

Since existence is the plane in which the meanings of Allah become manifest, and since all forms and objects are basically the densified states of these various meanings, the rays coming from the innumerous constellations are carrying these infinite meanings to us at all times.

Let me explain this with an example:

There are numerous radio waves and TV waves inside the room you’re sitting in right now, but let’s say your radio’s capacity to receive and convert these waves is limited and your TV only has a VHF band. Now imagine your next-door neighbor is able to view 100 different colored channels while you can only see one black and white channel. It’s not that those waves aren’t available to you, it’s just that your TV doesn’t have the capacity to receive and convert them. The good news is, unlike outdated radio and TV units, the capacity of a brain can be increased.

Essentially the brain is capable of processing the infinite stream of information coming from the 12 constellations and the innumerous stars. However, it’s crucial for the person to expand this capacity. You’ve been given an invaluable capital with which you can invest in a prosperous life of eternity yet here you are playing with it as if it’s some board game!?

It has been said, “The majority of the people of paradise comprise Buhul people”. This word Buhul in Arabic means both “pure-naive” and “foolish-stupid”.

The following words of Jesus (pbuh) further establishes this truth:

“Allah has created only one disease with no remedy and that is the state of being buhul” in other words foolishness!

Indeed, the majority of the people of paradise are going to be naïve, but why?

As a result of divine grace these people are going to be able to activate the circuitry in their brain to produce the anti-gravitational force needed to be able to escape Earth’s magnetic pull. However, due to not doing the necessary practices they will not have reached their highest potential to be able to evaluate the infinite blessings of that realm. Yet they will live an eternal life in paradise enjoying the countless pleasures with which they are familiar from this world.

The state of the muqarriboon in paradise on the other hand, those who have acquired divine closeness, no normal brain can even imagine let alone fathom!

But let me try to explain with a simple example:

Imagine someone spends an entire lifetime in pursuit of something, gives up everything for it, and in the end, he finally reaches it, can you imagine his joy! Now think of a brain that has reached its highest capacity, able to receive and process rays that activate countless new meanings, able to connect and resonate with the angels of brand-new starts at all times. Constantly receiving and processing new data, growing, developing and expanding…. I don’t know if I’m able to explain…

Dhikr: The Most Important Practice in The WorldOur brains are wired with the capacity to process, manifest and experience the infinite qualities and names of Allah. Depending on how much you repeat these names you will be able to get closer to Allah and understand and experience His meanings to that extent. Dhikr is the key for this! You can either use this key or throw it in the sea or amuse yourself with it like a toy!

All that you see around you, all actions that transpire through the people you see are different functions and processions of the brain.

Whatever quality you see on anyone, whether saintly or otherwise, know that you have the same potential quality within you, except that yours may not be activated.

The body has been designed solely to serve the brain; its purpose is to produce the necessary bioelectrical energy needed by the brain.

Additionally, certain organs have been installed into the body as a sample of the brain’s innumerous receptive capacity, though it is great injustice to restrict the brains capacity to this.

The macrocosm is the universe…

The microcosm is the brain!

The universe is essentially a giant mass of countless magnetic waves where each wave carries a unique meaning. The brain, by origin, is an advanced receptor that can process these meanings in the form of waves and can also create new meanings. The brain uploads all of its products to the spirit, i.e. the holographic wave body that it produces!

One’s after-life capacity, or in other words, the state and quality of his life after death is determined by the capacity of his brain at the moment of his death. After death, everyone without exception, will see how much they could have utilized the worldly life to develop themselves and feel deep regret at having lost the opportunity for good.

Now let us talk about the two types of dhikr.

Energy based dhikr.

Knowledge based dhikr.

Energy based dhikr is the common dhikr that we know of; it resonates with the spirit’s attribute of power and allows the spirit to succeed in various tasks, enabling it to accumulate and store the necessary energy for transportation.

Repeating:

Allah” …

La ilaha illallah…”

La hawla walaa quwwata illah billah…” are all within the scope of common dhikr.

The positive energy that flows to you via the good deeds you do, or when others gossip about you, is also the same type of energy.

There is a second type of dhikr which we can call “Specific dhikr”.

Specific dhikr is a list of Allah’s names ‘specific’ to the person. As I will cover in more detail later, different names of Allah can be combined as a specific formula to produce different results and effects in one’s brain according to the person’s needs.

When you do the dhikrs in the common dhikr list the strength and effect of each name will be equal, thus resulting in equal degrees of activation and manifestation.

Whereas for example, if the name MUREED is inadequately activated in a person as opposed to the other names, this person will have a weak willpower and drive and hence be unable to put into practice his knowledge. Now if this person goes ahead and does the common dhikr, since all the qualities referenced by the names are going to develop at the same degree his willpower is still going to be inadequate relative to the others. On the other hand, if this person focuses on the name Mureed instead he will see big differences in terms of his willpower in a short span of time.

This can be applied to many other things like stinginess, crudeness, to increase knowledge, etc. However, the person who determines the specific list of dhikr must know this person and his brain very well. He must be aware of the astrological signs and the positions of the planets at the time of the person’s birth in order to ascertain which areas of his brain are at the effects of which planet, what this person’s potentials are etc…

Dhikr should not only be restricted to these either. All the verses and prayers we recite during salat are also considered to be dhikr.

Salat is the means of uploading various meanings to one’s spirit by withdrawing from the external world into a deep meditative state.

Performing salat like doing gymnastics is nothing other than ignorance and a serious lack of insight.

Salat is a way to turn to one’s essence, that is, to Allah. Those deprived of this are in so much loss in terms of what they can potentially manifest and experience that it is merely impossible to put into words.

Not performing salat is like ceasing your ties with Allah. It is accepting yourself to be only the physical body and life as only of this world therefore not feeling the need to prepare for life after death. Such a person doesn’t even lift the lid of the treasure box called ‘vicegerency’ and will eventually die in misery and grave loss.

Think of someone who is deprived of using the tool that activates and develops all the infinite potential qualities that are dormant within him. Yet the only capital with which he can work in the afterlife is the treasure inside the treasure box of “vicegerency”. Is it even possible to imagine or express the extent of his regret after death?

Let us know without doubt everything done within the scope of “prayer/worship” including dhikr, salat, fasting etc. is for the person’s own good; these practices are crucial preparations for his life after death.

Your individual being is NOTHING in respect to The Absolute Proprietor of the infinite universe. If you were to spend your entire life in prostration do you think that signifies anything to that Infinity? What can you add to it?

Or if you were to spend your entire life in denial?

Your faith and denial bind you alone my friend.
