How Would You Like Your Dream House To Be?

Everyone has been promised a brand new house!

They are told: “You will leave your current homes and move into your new houses, if you believe in this promise. Start designing your houses as you like”, the only condition is that no one can see their new house until they make the move.

Everyone, from a man living in the most remote little village to a skyscraper tenant in Manhattan, New York, is asked how they would like their dream house to be and all their requests are taken and applied exactly… Those full of doubt obviously do not have any requests… But those who take this offer seriously and put in the effort to design their new homes present their ideas and requests to the minute detail…. All of it is applied, everyone is given an equal chance; there is no injustice!

While a villager in a hamlet who lives with his cow in a tiny shed made with cow-dung excitedly dreams about owning a mud-brick house, just like those of the attractive neighboring village…

A New Yorker who lives in a remote controlled, computer-based, solar powered house and has the ability to connect and interact with all his friends around the world online, while his assistants run his errands and prepare his trip to Tokyo for dinner, is also eagerly imagining his dream home…

The villager is thinking:

“I want a house with mud-brick walls rather than cow dung… The ceiling should be made with solid wood not mud… The roof should be covered with nylon to prevent rain and snow from going in… It should have two rooms so my dear cow can have her own room right next door to mine… My house should have a nice round stove heater for winter… Aah yes…. And I would like fur filled quilt rather than this grass filled one! And, of course, a lamp instead of candles….”

And on goes the villager whose idea of luxury does not go beyond the mud-brick housed village up the road, whose biggest concern in life involves his cow’s health, his sheep’s milk and his hens’ eggs, and whose only entertainment is the rumors that go on among the village folk…

The New Yorker is thinking:

“I’m tired of this still view of the city, I want to live in a mobile house now! I’m so over this computer system where the code doesn’t cater for change in style... I want a smart house, one that will synchronize with my brainwaves and decode my thoughts to update itself according to what I’m thinking… I want an exclusive system in my house that enables me to see beyond my general visual field and protect me from negative energy vibrations that may be harmful… I want systems implemented in my house that will allow me to venture out to the infinite space and discover new beautiful places in the universe, systems that will empower me with health and vitality…”

The New Yorker doesn’t care about the hustle and bustle of the town folk, he gives no importance to rumors, lies, accusations, power struggles, etc. His only concern is to make the best of this opportunity to design an ultimately efficient home in which he can reside and thrive…

As the story goes, the day finally comes and both men go to their custom-designed dream homes, leaving everything – their houses, friends and family, their environments and community – behind…

Both men find to their amazement, the home of their knowledge and vision, their ultimate dream home! Both are happy, and pursue their lives in bliss, totally unaware of each other…

As the old villager enjoys the pleasure of finally living in an advanced mud-brick house that for years filled his dreams, the urban ecstatically voyages to the unknown dimensions of outer space exploring his environment with his thought waves!

Some may deduce from this story that what’s important is the house we design and go to, not the one we leave behind… Some may think of timber or concrete houses, and some may interpret it as the house of our consciousness, our bodies…

The truth is, it isn’t as simple as believing you will be going to a new abode… In fact, to say “I believe in the hereafter” and to think this matters more than your current life is a serious misconception, as you are building and designing your home in the infinite hereafter every moment of your current life with the qualities you discover and express within yourself!

If you can say you are content with who you are today and do not feel the need to learn and discover new capabilities within yourself, that is fine too, it is your life my friend, the consequences of your choices will only bind you…

But if, on the other hand, you feel your cocoon is insufficient and you have the desire for a better life… If you are conscious of your ability to design your eternal abode with the divine qualities in your essence while still pursuing your earthly life… Then it is imperative for you to question and research everything you can and apply their requirements. You have to be open-minded and allow yourself to acquire new knowledge, and be adaptable!

For, ‘Allah manifests Himself in yet another wondrous way every instance’; He is forever creating anew. If you close yourself to change, you will be stuck in yesterday and indefinitely deprived of all the newness offered by today…

This is why READing the life guide Quran is our only aid… To READ the Quran in light of the letter ‘B’ and attain the ‘Bi-zati-hi’ to not just know, but experience it in person.

Oh friend! Tell me about the mystery of the letter B! Reveal to me its secrets…

Talk to me about the holographic view of seeing the whole in the part and the part in the whole!

Come, my friend… let us gaze at the letter B and its semblance…

First, a point is drawn and then it is extended to form a line, or the ‘aleph’

Then this aleph is further extended and curved to form a semi circle and then another semi circle…

The point became a line; the line became two semi-circles on top of each other…

The top semi circle represents the outer (zahir) and the lower semi circle represents the inner (batin). Both semi circles obtain their existence from the line, the aleph, and the aleph is derived from the point.

So now we have two semi circles comprising a single line, which is ultimately a series of points, and due to its curvature and new shape, we give it a new name, and call it ‘B’!

Now, let’s examine the Arabic letter B, or Ba (ب), instead of the Latin one…

A broad and shallow semi oval and a single point beneath it!

This is what it looks like from a two dimensional view…

How about from a three dimensional view?

If we look at it from the bottom we can see the apex of a cone enlarging to its base on the top. A cone, projected from a single point! The cone contains the secrets and mysteries, all manifesting from the point!

Infinite cones projecting from one point, infinite cones within infinite cones!

Innumerous expressions of the Names as cones!

Fa tabarak Allahu ahsanul Halikeen!
